Traverse
P40 – Glaz
Open to the sky on the Dent summit, the entrance shaft to this traverse (known as the P40) offers an unusual route through the rock. The aim? To descend the P40 at an altitude of 1,935 metres and follow the route to the Trou du Glaz, around 300 metres below.
There are 13 shafts interspersed with meanders to make this connection, which was made for the first time in 1946.
Do you enjoy abseiling? Does crossing the mountain appeal to you? Are you looking for a thrilling outing?
Then the P40-Glaz traverse, with its 200 metres of vertical drop, is for you.
